  1. Intended use and practical application
    The  X-14 stapler for bookbinding  is durable, professional bookbinding machine.
    It is available in 1-head or 2-head version, with the possibility of a development to 4 heads.
  2. Standard stapler staples up to 50 sheets of paper weight 80 gms per sqm saddle and flat  with staples  of the ”24”   type – with classical staples and with a loop (Ri).
  3. Special stapler stapling/stitching with thin/fine staples of the ”26” type, classical: up to 50 sheets of paper and with a loop (Ri): up to 26 sheets of paper.
  4. Additional equipment:
    a) Extension arm of the table (lengthening the distance of basing: up to 215 mm),
    b) The stapling mechanism „the 9 model” (for stitching up to 100 of sheets of paper).

ATTENTION!
The 1-head staplers, max 2-head staplers can be additionally equipped with stitching mechanisms for stapling/stitching up to 50 ÷ 100 sheets of paper with the help of classical staples of the ”9” or ”24 S” type.

5. Parameters of the stapler for bookbinding
– feeding of the material – manual,
– the way of starting the machine – foot-operated,

– the capacity of the magazine – 300 pcs of staples of the ”24” type, or – 400 pcs of staples of the ”26” type,
– outreach for back stitching – 298 mm (copy book of A3 format;A2 when unfolded),
– outreach for block stitching – 215 mm,
– spacing between the axes of staples (2-head stapler) – min. 48mm; max. 235 mm,
– flat closing staples – see the figure, below.

• automatically adjustable compression force (for different thicknesses of blocks of the paper),
• no additional equipment is needed for stitching with staples with loop.
